Ambulatory EEG Recorder
The PL-EEG Ambulatory EEG option ALPHA-D16 is an affordable and comprehensive upgrade of your PL-Winsor system for continuous longterm monitoring of your patient's EEG data at home, in the clinic or up a mountain!
- Very small and lightweight ambulatory recorder with 16 channels, a digital marker channel (for two internal and/or or two external marker switches) and a special channel for battery monitoring.
- 14 EEG channels with one reference and two bipolar channels for ECG, EMG or EOG.
- All channels have an impedance check function.
- Two cells of rechargeables allow continuous operating times up to 60 hours.
- The recorder can be controlled by a PC or Laptop via serial interface (optically decoupled) or an optional wireless transmission (Bluetooth). Predefined measurings also can be started at the recorder directly.
- Data is stored on a Compact Flash Card 512MB to 4GB. In the standard configuration the recorder produces about 15 MBytes of data per hour, so that a 512 MB card allows measuring times up to 34 hours.
- Data can be transmitted to a host computer by serial link or Bluetooth during measurement/recording.
- Once the data is transferred to the PL-EEG database, optional seizure and spike detection software can be used to analyse the data. Along withpatient event markers data can be reviewed quickly and accurately using the easy-to-use segment marking functions.
- PL-Winsor's easy-to-use data pruning is ideal for saving and archiving specific points of interest for comparison with previous diagnostic EEG records or video recordings.
